RECORD PURCHASING POLICY
Velouria purchases used records from private parties. The records we purchase must be in very good overall condition including the covers.
Vinyl should be generally free of surface imperfections, have a good sheen to the vinyl and be free of scratches.
Covers should be free of excessive wear such as ring wear, split seams or large handwriting or labels/stickers etc.
Given the above we generally pay from $1.00 to $3.00 for most albums in good condition depending on artist and the ability to sell. For the most common LPs and those in questionable condition expect to receive less than $1.00.
We strive to pay fair prices when purchasing from you and hope this helps you get an idea of what to expect.
CD Purchasing Policy
The CDs we purchase must be generally free from scratches. The cases must be clear and not damaged in any way.
We generally pay $1.00 to $3.00 for most CDs in good condition, depending on artist and ability to sell. For more common artists and any with condition issues expect to receive less than $1.00
We do purchase used cassettes in good condition from select artists. We pay on average $0.25 to $0.50 for cassettes that are clean and free from defects.
